The unique and pristine mountains of Lyngen rise into a spectacular peninsula and are popular with experienced mountain climbers and extreme skiers as well as offering spectacular scenery amongst green forests and blue fjords.

Here we find mountain peaks rising up 1000 meters directly from the fjord, glacial cirques, rivers and tumbling waterfalls, gleaming mountain lakes and deep ravines.

The area is perfect for summer sports such as hiking, river tours by canoe, glacial trekking, fly fishing and horseback riding or simply fishing in the waters of the fjords.

In winter you can enjoy a number of sports including cross-country skiing or dog sledding, rides in horse drawn sleighs or trips across the waters of the fjords.
